Prophecy, Civility, and Truth Lecture
This was a very thought provoking lecture. The important idea we were asked to opine about was that, Christians might contribute to the governmental common satisfactory by removing the poison from government activity. This is a very difficult appargonnt movement with no specific or correct answer. The reason that politics is getting so serious within the last historic period is because religion is becoming more and more of an issue, one main reason being the tragic razets of nine eleven. This event turned many religions against each other, which caused much more turmoil. The two religions that atomic number 18 being most discriminatory are Muslims and Catholics. Many lot of the world blamed the entire Muslim community for a couple of hatful making a bad decision. She disturbed in the lecture that the reason that this is so important is because we are building more and more walls in the religious and political communities. Another wall that we learned about was between the lavish and the poor. About how some people believe that the rich should scratch care of the poor through taxes and donations and such, however other people believe that it should be a you get what you get world.



If a society is unable to figure out what the average soulfulnesss values on certain topics consist of, in that respect is always another option. It society is threatening to abandon its rudimentary values, then prophetic rhetoric can be an entire option to bring it back to those certain good values. I thought this was a very good lecture to attend, howeverI regain that it presented more issues with how the political world is struggling right now, and even though some of those issues do involve religion, it was not the master(a) thought of the lecture.
