Growing up, I never learned close the Bible. I learned or so Hindooism and spent my childhood dismission to temple and learning about my own religion. I learned how to be a good person and how to treat my elders and those around me from the anecdotes of the Bhagavat Gita, the Hindu holy al-Quran, and our equivalent of the Christian Bible. I had Sun twenty-four hour period Balvihar, classes where the locality kids would pee-pee together and the Priest or Pundit would recognize and teach about the religion. My first encounter with the Bible was in elementary school when I went to church building on east wind Sunday with my best friend, Jennifer Beaton. It was the first while I had read a passage in the Bible and I remember thinking about how interesting it was and how well it was written. I remember being impress that I could read the stories in the Bible because I had ever so thought they would be too difficult to understand because the book was so big. My experience on Easter was the first time I had understood the meaning of one of the Christian holidays that I usually never bothered to understand. My two best friends are Christians so I learned about Christianity and the Bible through their stories about Church and Mission trips and I would occasionally company them to the youth group at their Church.
