Arousal, Behavior, Stress, and Affect Worksheet
Using the text for this course, the University Library, the Internet, and/or some other resources answer the following questions. Your response to each question should be at least 250 words in length.
1. What are the differences amongst physiologic and psychological motivations? Provide examples of each in your response.
Physiological needs are referring to the sympathetic nervous agreement responding from the arousing or preparing the body for action from the nervous system brain. The need influences the number of different antigenic determinants with, which a single antibody shred can combine for the incentive that satisfies and for the need to become a goal. The goal concerns with affiliation and intendancy.
Psychological needs are referring to the response associated with the energetic arousal of the levels of tense associated with negative and unpleasant situations. For example, wake up from sleepiness can bring tension and fretting to a high level, affecting the performance of a individual. Whereas physiological can lead to harmful thoughts of unfriendly and nasty emplacement or behavior.
2. What is the blood between arousal and behavior? Does this relationship impact performance and affect?
Arousal refers to a person understanding that regulates his or her arousal levels. Arousal can play from low to high and behavior is motivated by changes in the arousal state that turn creates behavior into efficiently turn to arousal state (Hebb, 1955).
3. Assess the long-term and short-term cause of stress on the body, brain, and behavior.
