Christianity is the grownupst religious belief in the worldly concern, with a little over 2 one thousand million members. It is significantly larger than the second largest religion, Islam, which has just about 1.6 billion members. About one third of the worlds population today shortly identifies themselves as Christians. Worldwide, Christianity is now widely split into tens of thousands of faith groups, large and small. Which is why many people view Christianity as a group of religions rather than a single religious unit. At the age of two months I was introduced to the world or religion, particularly Christianity. I was baptized into the Catholic Church. Which meant I was now apart of the Catholic Church and completed my setoff out of seven sacraments. Then seven years by and byward I completed my second sacrament, I went finished communion. personnel casualty through communion made me more apart of the perform, and I was now allowed to receive Christs body and store at mass. As excited as I was as a young girl to go to Sunday direct and learn about God, unfortunately my Catholic and religious journeying ended in middle school. Taking this Intro to religion class has been a joy for me cause not single am I reminded about my religion I am being exposed to new religions. Now knowing that there many different forms of Christianity I was anxious to do my sketch study on one.
The Baptist Church is one of those churches I suit my frequently, but dont know anything about. But after this assignment I can say I am very familiar with the Baptist Church. I learned all about Baptists and their beliefs when I visited the Bethel Grace Baptist Church here in retentive Beach.
