No Gays in Korean Society
You are so gay, Thats so gay. When I start-off came to United States, I attended spirit school in California. I did not go how to speak or carry through English however, the first sentence that I learned was Thats so gay. I heard the word, Gay, ordinary life. When I first heard that word, I did not know what that mean was, therefore, I looked it up in the dictionary. However, even though I read explanation of the word, Gay in Korean, I could not understand. Eventually, I asked my ESL teacher. After she explained to me, she asked me a question, Are you trusted that you never heard of word, Gay in your country? I answered her, Never.
In Korean society, people are very conservative. Therefore, sometimes, people from other countries, especially people from Western countries, stupefy trouble understanding Korean society. For example, teenagers never talk active their boyfriend or girlfriend to their parents because they know that their parents will range no boyfriend or girlfriend until they get into college. I had a similar experience when I was in middle school.
I had a girlfriend in my school and we were public lecture in the hall way. However, teacher saw us, and we had to go to doyens office. After that my girlfriend and I decided not to talk to each other in the school. Like this, Korean people are even so strict around relationship between male and female that they would never deem about oddity in the society. The people think that homosexuality is some kind of diseases that only foreigners carry, never think that Korean society have homosexuality ever. And this leads people to have homophobia. Homophobia is a range of negative feelings to homosexuality. There are main 2 problemsIf you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
