Artists from the early 90s such as Prince used sexual lyrics and women in his videos and music and citizenry enjoyed it. But because rappers in our generation use aggressive words and level off curse words people look down on it. That doesnt mean some will stop comprehend to it because people do enjoy it. It doesnt influence everybody in the same ways that it influences others. I also believe that certain lyrics and videos influence certain types of behaviors that adolescents have now. For example, words that we use, different styles in how we dress, and even how we act in friendships and relationships.
Nowadays teenagers dont look to teachers or other adults for advice about anything. They simply listen to music, search websites or look in magazines for questions and answers. Music in our generation contains more references to sexual activity than any other form of entertainment. Its all around us so can adults turn on youths for listening to it?
