9-11: A Nation coupled by Pain When the words nine-eleven argon uttered, a m untowardion things crowd the mind. From sadness to memory, every someone in America thinks of what they were doing that twenty-four hour period in 2001. That infamous day that brought grieving to so many innocent families. The very tone of thousands was shattered in the blink of an eye. The greatest nation on Earth was brought to ruins by 19 men and one power: destruction. Was it selfish envy or pure hatred? It did not intimacy to the brothers and sisters of the United States of America, they were injured and they were broken by the ill will of others and that was enough to change a nation. The three policy-making cartoons relating to the events of September 11, 2001 employ visual rhetoric to illustrate the mutual bond between the terrorism of al-Qaeda and the unity and remembrance that it brought to the United States. By establishing ethos and pathos, the cartoons highlight a united nation who remembered its f solelyen citizens in response to the violent attacks brought on by Osama bin Laden. People were hurt when the attacks happened, no doubt, but the attacks did something else for the United States of America that the terrorists did not and could not anticipate; America became merge like it had not been for a long while.

The events of September 11th, 2001 occurred between 8:46 am and 10:28 am, but remain in the rearview reverberate for Americans everywhere even nine years later.
